Biomechanics and Body Balancing for a Better Birth

Have you ever heard that birth is a marathon?

So why don't we prepare our bodies for this incredible physical experience that we're going to participate in? This is exactly what Body Ready Method® is for! Part of feeling prepared and confident for birth is learning how to support your body to function at its physiological best through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

BRM® assessments are individualized to give you the best tools for your unique body and goals. This approach helps minimize and even eliminate symptoms and dysfunction that we're often told are "normal for pregnancy." Common does not equal normal. What's more, these tools can help you prepare for a more efficient birth and a smoother postpartum recovery.

  • You're pregnant and worried about your core, diastasis recti, pelvic floor function, or other body issues.

1 : 1 BRM® Assessment Packages

Each package includes a detailed assessment of the current needs your body is helping you fulfill (job, childcare, hobbies, etc.), your physical, emotional, and reproductive history, a review of any current aches/pains, and a discussion of your goals for this pregnancy and birth. In other words, I really want to get to know you as a complete package!

Then we will go through a series of physical movements that will help me to assess what parts of your body might be gripping and holding tension, and what parts might need a little attention to help them work in a better capacity. We look at the entire person, from head to toe, while taking into consideration what else is going on in your life, so that we can design a unique set of tools to help shift your body towards better alignment.

Private, in-home sessions or virtual are available for any package.
