Pregnant woman using HypnoBirthing to instinctively connect with her unborn baby

HypnoBirthing® is Instinctive Birthing

During your five-week course you will learn deep relaxation, visualization, and breathing techniques in combination with education, affirmation, and self-hypnosis. HypnoBirthing returns the birthing experience to our natural instincts, where we are free of any unnecessary fears and can trust our bodies and our babies.

Connect with your birthing instincts in
3 simple steps

1 / Sign up for a class

I offer both in-person and live, online classes. Choose between a group class or a private class with just your birth team and me. The best time to start is between 20 and 34 weeks pregnant. (If you are more than 35 weeks pregnant, get in touch so we can customize a plan for you!) Explore the site or contact me with questions!

2 / Practice your new techniques

Consistently practicing what you've learned throughout the rest of your pregnancy is key to the  HypnoBirthing method. Practice makes permanent!

3 / Rock your birth!

No explanation needed! Enjoy a relaxed, positive birth experience where you're in control of decisions and welcome your baby with calm and joy!

The HypnoBirthing Advantage

  • Reduces, and often eliminates, the need for chemical anesthesia, episiotomy, and other interventions

  • Lessens fatigue during labor, leaving the mother fresh, awake, and energized as she brings her baby into the world

  • Shortens the thinning and opening phase of labor by several hours

  • Reduces the risk of pelvic floor damage

  • Includes the birthing companion an integral part of the birth, not an onlooker

  • Leads to a gentle birth and easier emotional and physical post-partum recovery

  • Promotes better adjusted and happier babies

About Me

I’ve been in higher education for over a decade, but after having my children, I discovered how much I loved the field of birth work and that I could use my skills as a teacher to help other families prepare for a positive birth experience! If you're interested to learn more about me, please check out my bio; if you'd like to know more about HypnoBirthing®, please see my services and explore the blog
